The Community Services department provides the public with various recreational activities that include classes, excursions, and special events. The department also oversees numerous
parks and rental facilities,
SilverRock Resort, the
Senior Center, the
La Quinta Library, and the
La Quinta Museum.

What is a La Quinta Resident Card?
The Resident Card is a card that provides discount golf rates for La Quinta residents at the City’s SilverRock Resort golf course.

Where is the Fitness Center?
Until July 8, 2011: The
La Quinta Fitness Center is located at 49-995 Park Avenue, adjacent to the La Quinta Boys and Girls Club Gymnasium at the corner of Park Avenue and Avenue 50. Fitness Center cards may be purchased at the Community Services counter inside City Hall until the new facility opens.
After July 8, 2011: the Fitness Center will be relocated to it's new home within the existing La Quinta Community Center located at 77-865 Avenida Montezuma. Fitness Center cards may be purchased on site after the opening of the new facility.
