Designed by Bill Ware, the artwork consists of a conquistador "Don" on a horse . The Don is made of brass, bronze and copper; the horse is made of solid aluminum. The art piece is located on the corner of Avenue 48 and Washington Street at Rancho La Quinta Country Club. It was purchased in May, 1996.
