Blues, Brews and BBQ is coming to Old Town La Quinta on Saturday, November 3, 2007, 11 am to 6 pm. This NEW community event celebrating the Art of American Cuisine will encompass great live music, a BBQ cook-off, specialty microbrews
and more…
- Live entertainment by Reckless Driver
- BBQ cook-off sanctioned by the California BBQ Association. The BBQ teams will compete for prize money and points towards a national championship.
- Sample BBQ prepared by professional BBQ teams (5 samples for $10): pork ribs, beef brisket, chicken, and pulled pork. Then vote for the winner of the Peoples’ Choice Award.
- Sample specialty microbrews from The Beer Hunter, Backstreet Brewing Company, and Trader Joe’s La Quinta (4 samples for $5).

- Purchase plates of your favorite BBQ and fixins’ prepared by BBQ teams.
