Garage, Patio, Yard Sale Permit/Applications are available at the Community Development Department/Code Compliance counter, Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m., and Friday, 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. The permit fee is $10 and is payable by cash, check, or debit card in the Finance Department. Residents are allowed two sales per La Quinta location in any 12-month period. The resident/occupant at the location must complete the application and provide a current photo I.D., such as a California Driver’s License.
Garage sales are allowed between the hours of 7:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. and cannot continue for more than 72 hours. You will receive two complimentary Garage Sale signs which must be removed when the event is over.
