There are two types of transportation permits that can be requested: 1) Single trip permit, 2) Annual permit. A single trip permit is valid for 1 trip
and costs $15.00. The annual permit can be used for an entire year and costs $90.00. An annual permit is valid only for trips using a vehicle of
the same dimensions as specified on the annual permit and can be used for trips using routes specified here.

Permit fees can be paid by cash, check or draw down account which are set up with the Public Works Department. Annual permits can only be
submitted by person or by mail since original signatures are required. Single trip permits can be submitted in person or by fax. All transportation
permits are not valid until authorized agent's signature is obtained. Please allow up to 24 hours for review of a permit.

APPLYING FOR A PERMIT. ROUTES MAY BE MODIFIED BY THE CITY OF LA QUINTA AT THEIR DISCRESION. IT IS
THE TRANSPORTER'S RESPONSIBILITY TO VERIFY THE ROUTE GRANTED PRIOR TO EMBARKING ON THE MOVE.
